For sale REDUCED: FS/FT HBE Power Screamer in rare Checkerboard.

This may go to eBay, but for now lets see if there's a trade out there.

The middle diode setting (heavier bass) sounds a lot like my old Hematoma. The manual for this is here if you're curious:

Nothing on the HBE sight tells me this is designed any different than the current Power Screamer which goes for $229. About $180-$190 from an HBE dealer. Checkerboard seems to be no longer available.

Possible trades:
VT Bass pedal.
2 EMG45 pickups (active only: CS, DC or 45P & 45J combo).

Outright sale would be $100 shipped in the conus.
Box and manual included.

Sorry about the crappy pic. My Wife LOST my digital camera (or had it taken from her purse at work...we're not sure which). It's a cell shot.

I used to have a Hematoma, but I can't recall if the Boost works by itself? Like does the OD circuit have to be activated before the Boost works? If not I may nab this, as it could function as my TS-style mild grit/fur as well as a Micro Amp I'd want for a clean boost.

Actually, I didn't know if my Hematoma did either as I never used the boost.

This one seems to be a different animal. The boost, although it lights up, does nothing on it's own. But when the pedal is engaged, rather than a big volume boost seems to make for a heavier, more saturated distortion/overdrive with a small volume boost.

Hope this helps.
