I've got a guitar strap made of stingray skin for sale. I bought this strap a few years back and never ended up using it, so it's time to send it off to a better home.
For those of you who don't know, stingray skin is a very unique material. It has a pebbled grain to it, and is a very good natural flame retardant. I remember I accidentally had a stingray skin wallet thrown into a bonfire at the beach once. When I came back down and found it in the morning, I found all of my money, credit cards, and ID to be in tact. Although the stingray skin was charred, it had served its purpose. Anyway, bottom line, very cool and unique material.
I've seen some of these around the internet (though they are extremely rare) selling for around $300. The ones I have seen online are not nearly as nice as mine nor do they contain as much stingray leather as mine, so, I'm going to ask $300 shipped in the US.
I will post pictures later this evening. Thanks and please feel free to ask any and all questions.
