For sale Summer Pedal Sale - Putnam Modded VT, Boss, EBS, EHX

Free

Details

I just got back from vacation and have a few things I need to sell off to pay for some other things...

Prices do not include shipping, but I have a fedex account, so it should be fairly cheap. I can also do USPS if a buyer wants. No international sales, sorry!

First up is a Putnam modded VT Bass. This has both the DI with ground lift switch as well as the Speaker sim bypass mod. I've used this as a FOH DI a few times and have gotten nothing but compliments about it. The pedal goes used around here from $125 to $150, and the mods are $105 from Putnam. It will come with the original paperwork for the pedal.

$200

Electro Harmonix Bass Big Muff. You know it, you love it, as well you should. Problem for me is that I have another fuzz that makes me happy, so this one is sitting, not getting used. This will come with the insert from EHX about the controls.

$65

Boss GEB7 Bass EQ. Nice solid EQ...not sure what else to say. ;) Comes with the original manual.

$50

As stated before, prices are before shipping, but I will get you the lowest possible price I can. Prices are firm, lowball offers will be ignored, or possibly mocked, depending on my mood. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have about the pedals.

Comments

Please note I'm only interested in specific trades, which are an Eventide TimeFactor, or PitchFactor. Obviously, that would entail multiple pedals from me. I also have a modded DL4 that I can toss in if trading for a TimeFactor...

Price also dropped on the VT after checking a bit.

On the VT, what difference in sound does the Speaker Sim bypass make and is it through both the 1/4" output jack and D.I. or one or the other?

I'm curious as I already have one of these but am thinking of getting another.

To my ears, it clears up the sound a bit, but I'll try to throw some clips together if my daughter will cooperate in the next couple of days and toss 'em up here. It does affect both the DI and the 1/4".

Edit:

I'm a moron...I have a couple of video clips you can take a listen to and get a general idea...

http://vimeo.com/12716956

Bass is a Lakland 55-01 with Nordstrand Fat Stacks and Nordy 3 band pre. Settings I was using on the bass for this clip are volume full up, blend set to about 25% to the bridge with the bass boosted a bit. VT Bass is what's feeding FOH. Settings on the VT Bass are Level at noon, lows and mids at noon, highs at 10 o' the clock, Character and drive at 11. Speaker sim is off.

There's another clip as well...

Same settings.

Both times you're hearing more of the house mix which is the Lakland through the putnam modded VT bass pedal.

Hope that helps.
