Details

Up for sale is my USA Peavey Cirrus 4 - previously owned by TB member Quadzilla. Bubinga/Walnut.

The bass has received a hit of some kind by the previous owner on the back (nothing serious), see the pictures. It plays wonderfully, and sounds awesome :)

I'm putting it up for sale because I have a good deal for a Reverend Rumblefish which I'd like to try out.

Updated price: 675USD + shipping, will ship anywhere in the world. Comes with a HD case.

For a little more info: 35" scale, 24 frets, vol/pan/3 band EQ, surprisingly light!

Actually, unless it's been modified, it's vol/pan/, not vol/vol...

BTW, I love my Cirrus. :)

This was my bass. It was vol/pan when I had it and I'm sure that Morf didn't change it.

I'm sorry, its indeed vol/pan, not vol/vol sorry about that and thanks for the correction peeps :)

For the story I like this bass alot too, but my USA Millenium comes pretty close and its passive, which I like better.

Since the string spacing on these is quite small, I decided to keep the Millenium as it plays and sounds great, and try a Reverend Rumblefish with the money I'll get from this sale ;)

I thought so too but I dont really get much attention it seems ;)

Shipping to Europe is around 30-40 euros, to the states around 80-100USD.

as a general rule, do Cirrus' play well?

Cause i love my peavey i think it's just time to go ... better

As far as I know (maybe someone else could give you more info) Cirruses play like a dream. Very fast, small necks, with tight string spacing compared to Fenders. The neck is really comfortable, very slim and the "bare wood" feeling is great.

After I traded this bass to Morf, I missed it so much that I went and bought another Cirrus just like it. This is one mean bass folks!

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by the sweepable mid range control. The bass has a 3 band EQ, bass/mid/treble, so yes the mid range is tweakable from a twist of the knob, if that answers your question :) thanks for the bump :D

The newer Cirruses come with the sweepable mid control. Older ones like thins one (and also the one I own right now) did not have this control. I think Peavey added it a few years ago.
