Ok, maybe an oddball situation...I started a project, stopped, then was planning on pitching the whole thing. Instead I threw it in a trunk and started trying to sell off some of the nicer parts. But then, over time, I managed to accumulate the full compliment of parts for it, and now it's a perfectly manageable project again...go figure. However, I have one problem -- hardware colors. I have gold tuners from a Yamaha neck, and everything else is chrome -- badass II bridge and knobs, and straplocks. So I can go either all chrome or all gold. Gold would look a lot better -- mahogany body, maple neck, it just looks kinda nice. Chrome is fine. But I need to get all into one corner, and I'd like to keep on being cheap. So I'm hoping to find one of two people: (a) you have decent chrome tuners and want gold ones, or (b) you have a gold badass II in fair to decent shape, and three gold knobs, and wouldn't mind having chrome versions of the same. Other parts that would be a plus: string tree (I have gold), flush-mounted input jack (I have chrome), straplocks (I have chrome, and black, I think), pickguard and cavity cover screws (I have chrome), neck plate and screws (I have chrome). All other condition issues being equal, I know gold parts tend to be a bit pricier than chrome, so I am prepared to supplement my side of the deal -- I have parts, pickups, electronics, and cash of course -- if necessary. But nothing I have is in stellar condition, so I'm really mostly hoping to find nicely worn stuff -- it would almost be better if it WASN'T perfect and shiny.
Here's a shot of the project:

Only now it has a badass instead of the schaller roller bridge -- which was crucial since the body is shorter than a normal fender style, so I needed the wide travel of the BA bridge's saddles -- that lets me put the bridge in a reasonable position and still be properly set to scale (34")...the schaller was gonna have to be almost right on the back edge...
The gold looks really nice on the maple, and definitely looks good agains the mahogany, so that's why I'm leaning that way. But chrome will also look plenty fine.
and i'm gonna go crazy on the wiring...but that's another story all together...
cheers all!
