For sale Wanted - Pedulla Pentabuzz

Details

I am looking for a Pentabuzz with the wide neck and, preferably, a flame maple top. SoCal location is a plus as I really don't like shipping...

Let me know what 'cha got...

I checked the Craigslist global searches and found the one in Dallas (beautiful red-burst), Scottsdale (blueburst) and another in Tampa. I'm just a bit wary of buying sight-unseen unless it it from a Talkbass regular. Unfortunately, those places are a bit distant for me to fly/drive. I'm actually looking for a fretless (Pentabuzz) rather than the fretted (MVP-5) as I have a bunch of nice fretted basses, thanks to my wife!

Your posting got me thinkin'... in our everychanging GAS, I would sell my 2001 Pedulla Pentabuzz. It is in MINT condition. I mean this is brand new and only played a few times and then stored. I bought it while I was touring the Broadway show "Les Miserables" and we were in Los Angeles. I bought it brand new and thought that I might go to the "Lion King" tour (fretless is required). Well, the position never opened up and I sent the bass into my long term storage while I stayed on tour until 2007-08. I am not playing it, so why not sell it.

It has the vintage dark cherry burst . It has NO scratches anywhere, no wear on the neck, no buckle rash. It looks and plays BRAND NEW. It has 19mm spacing between strings at the bridge. I do not have the hard case for this (don't know where I put it) but will include a good quality gig bag or a hard case of generic branding--your choice).

I've owned this exact same bass (sold after divorce, sadly). $2000 is a ridiculously low price. If I weren't all set in the 5-string fretless department I would buy this without hestitation. This is a FANTASTIC deal!!!

Dan, let me know if you're still in the Pentamarket. I have one that just doesn't get played and it's too nice to be a closet queen.
