You're looking for Schaller M4 tuners, which are somewhat difficult to locate online these days. They have them at www.allparts.com, and it's worth a call or e-mail to one of the big bass shops like www.basscentral or www.bassnw.com to see if they have any available for sale.

Well, I've written to all 3, allparts/basscentral/and bassnw. None have the schaller m4, allparts did carry it but they are out of stock and do not have any idea when they may have any more in. Any ideas of where else I could try and find a schaller m4 tuner? thanks!

I lucked out. I really only needed a single tuner to replace a broken one on the Kramer. A couple of weeks ago, a single Schaller tuner popped up on Ebay that was the exact match. $5.50 + shipping. I was doing the happy dance the day it arrived. :hyper:

BY SOME CHANCE THESE DON'T HAVE A SLIGHT ARC WHERE THEY REST AGAINST THE HEADSTOCK?

Man, I still can't find one for mine. I'm thinking if I can't find one soon I'll just buy a whole new set of another brand.

-I'm not sure if it is arced or not, have to look at it when I get home from work. I don't remember that though...
