    Current Setup:
    My main basses are: American made Double bass ca. 1939, Two custom conklin Sidewinders, Ibanez GWB1, Warwick FMM. I have a bunch of other basses that i keep for sentimental reasons.
    Amps: Electric setup: Aguilar DB750 and GS212 or Tone hammer 500 and SL112s
    Doublebass setup: Aguilar Tone hammer 500 and SL112s
    Gigs and Ensembles:
    My current Gig in the jazz department at the University of Utah. I'm also freelancing URBass, Electric Bass, and Drums in SLC. I also teach privately. I've played bass all over the world in orchestras and at jazz festivals.

    Influences and Teachers:
    I've had formal classical double bass study with Peter Askim, student of Luwig Streicher; Ben Henderson, student of Lawrence Wolfe; Walter Birkedahl, student of Stuart Sankey. And David Yavornitzky. Most of my electric and jazz-upright bass playing comes from personal study. However, i'm a student of John Patitucci and Gary Willis.

    I practice Wing Chun Kung Fu, and play Diablo 3
