    Gender:
    Male
    Birthday:
    May 22
    Location:
Right-hand Missouri (up in the hills)
    Occupation:
    Retired High School Band Director
    Current Setup:
(Currently under re-construction as I had to sell most of my gear a few years ago to keep my ex-wife at bay.)
    Favorite Genres:
Very eclectic taste, but I likes my funk, electronic/synth, classic rock, progressive rock, modern rock (eh, but not with too much 'screamo'!) and Jazz/be-bop as my staples. However, recently I am gonzo for Rockabilly, old C & W (which I totally missed out on back in the day) and 'Chicken Picken' licks played by Telewackers!
    Previously Owned Gear:
Epiphone EB-0 bass. Peavey T-20 bass. Squier Jazz bass. Fender Jazz Plus 5-string bass. Post CBS Fender Bassman 50 and cab. Peavey Combo 300. Ampeg SVT with 4x10 Peavey cab.
    G.A.S. List:
G & L, Ibanez or Fender bass (would like a 4-string and 5-string bass). Will soon be getting either an Ampeg BA210 ver 2 bass combo, or and Ibanez Promethean p3110 bass combo. Also, an extra 2x10 8 Ohm cabinet with tweeter..if I can find one(!)
    Influences and Teachers:
I majored on the trumpet in college, however I'm self-taught on the bass. The only bass books/articles with notation I have are from Carol Kaye and Jaco Pastorius. In high school (1970's) I admired Chris Squire, John Entwistle, (Jaco), and Stanley Clarke. A kid in the orchestra had a Rickenbacker 4001 bass. I didn't. Still don't. :(
    Hobbies and Interests:
Learning 'Chicken Picken' on my Telecaster. Learning to be a 'Bluesman'. I am an amateur hillbilly luthier in training. Astronomy & star gazing. Seeking treasure with my metal detector. I am an A+ Certified PC tech. Electronics/repair.
    Teaching Credentials:
(Missouri Life Certificate K - 12 Instrumental Music). MM in Ethnomusicology with Electronic Music Certificate (FSU)
