I started playing bass at 13 yrs old. I always wanted to play bass. As kids when ya start talking about putting a band together, I wanted to be the bass player. My brother, 7 years my elder, was into music and helped ignite that passion in me. Unfortunately he was killed in a car accident when he was 20 yrs old and I got his Peavey T40 bass and Peavey TKO 65 amp and never looked back. I took lessons from Paul Porter at Porter music. I was in marching band and concert band instrument of choice was trombone. I played in jazz band and high school from my freshman to senior years. I've toured regionally (Southeast) with bands in the past, I've played locally, I've been in the house bands... Throughout all this time I have taken long breaks. I have laid my bass down to pursue drums and guitar. All in all I think I'm a pretty well-rounded bassist...Now I'm just an old fogey that likes to play around the house or w/ close friends. But if the right project came around, I would be interested.
