picked up the bass in 1998 at the same time as two of my childhood friends started on drums and guitar. As we started jamming we realized we are not interested in becoming a cover band but to create our own music. Around 2001 I had to travel to pursue my studies abroad, and my friends joined a local band. Around this time and up until 2010 I played with several cover bands that needed a bass player, the bands were diverse ranging from blues and RnB to Metal and MUSE and Radiohead, Dream Theater/ Liquid Tension Experiment, and Stevie Ray Vaughan Tribute bands.
in 2010 I went back home and started jamming with my friends again forming an original progressive metal fusion band. Initially, our music was instrumental very similar to THE THREE WISE MONKEYS and TOSKA. Since we all have families and full-time day jobs things were slow musically until we were approached by a lyricist/singer where in 2015 we started serious work. This led to a lengthy writing process of an album that we are currently recording.
In 2011 as I started studying jazz. I took studying bass more seriously with more dedicated time which I still pursue on a daily basis.
