Originally from Alabama. I've lived in Floyd, VA., for 12 years. Happily married for 11 years. My first instrument was a baritone ukelele at age 6. I've been playing bass and guitar since age 11. I became enthralled with music early especially after hearing The Beatles. I played sousaphone in high school. I really love Chris Squire of Yes. My early musical progress I attribute to listening to Yes and trying to play along with Chris Squire and Steve Howe. Also, Frank Zappa was a huge influence as well. I was fortunate to see Yes and Zappa several times. Tony Levin of King Crimson and Peter Gabriel has also been extremely influential. Through the years I've mixed sound and played bass while having "real jobs" too. For me I 'm just proud to be involved with music. Currently working on building a home recording studio and continuing to mix sound and play as much as possible.
    Bass is the place!
