I'm a rock/funk/gospel bass player in a Country band. :) I grew up as a musician in my area in rock and funk projects, just because that is what there was. I serve my country band's original music by bringing a bit of this flavor, adding a little color, flavor, conflict, resolution, and texture to the music. Crossing Avery is currently recording an album at Lakeside Studios, and we are anticipating its release in late fall/early winter 2014. I also serve as bassist in SPARK, led by my friend and colleague Matt Gravely. I freelance live gigs when available, mainly reading charts and numbers in these gigs. I am also serving as session bassist for a few studios in the area where I live, reading charts, music, and staff/notation as needed for recordings. I'm currently playing 4-string fretted and fretless basses through a nice combo amp.

When I'm not working with music, I'm either at my day job or spending time with my family.
