    Gender:
    Male
    Location:
    Montreal
    Occupation:
    Electrical/Electronics Engineer
    Current Setup:
None. I have a small amp, but I don't use it. I play my 4-string Dean Edge Pro bass unplugged.
    Favorite Genres:
    Progressive.
    Gigs and Ensembles:
    None.
    Previously Owned Gear:
45 years ago I had a Hagstrom II guitar, black, exactly like Frank Zappa's ;-)
    G.A.S. List:
For and amp, I'm planning to design and build my own. I don't like anything I see in the market. For pedals, again, I have many ideas of my own how to better implement sound effects. For a bass, I'd probably like to get something scientifically designed, as opposed to something with a big name. Possibly a monocoke construction with a zero fret, and I would design my own mikes and active electronics for it.
    Influences and Teachers:
To me, the bass player with the cleanest sound in the world is Scott Devine, of Scott's Bass Academy. The style I want to emulate/acquire is Hadrien Feraud's, but I took the 3-finger plucking idea of Nathan Watts, and will never look back
    Hobbies and Interests:
Electronics, economics and finance, conspiracies (only true ones), cosmogenesis and physics, philosophy, meditation, health, nutrition, life extension, cooking, Tai-Chi, tango dancing.
I posted a quick bio in my first, 'hello' thread.
