Around 2000 I started modding my G&L bass and posting it on the Dude Pit. I was the one that started all the single coil mods, preamp mods, and hum cancelling mods in the G&L bass community. G&L eventually started offering single coil options on two pickup L2000 and L2500 basses consistent with my mods. They also removed the OMG caps (instead of fixing them) to eliminate hum and make off shore manufacturing easier. I have updated the mod documents quite a bit over the years.

Enjoy playing all types of music but particularly like traditional gospel with lots of groove and changes

Also mess around with a viola and a tenor ukulele.
