    Find a different amp. I got a Peavey Minimax for cheap that goes louder, sounds better and has never cut out. The only issue is the fan is LOUD...

    It's a certain revision of the amp that is prone to it. I think the newer versions don't have the issue. The one I owned did cut out at volume...

    I had one that did the exact same thing with a 4 ohm load. It's a common issue with those amps

    When I used to do it I would give 60% every time. Now they go by some internal pricing system where what the computer says is what they pay out....
