    Good....as opposed to the other kind....very eclectic tastes....greatly prefer playing to listening!

    Influences and Teachers:
    My two biggest musical heroes are Jimi Hendrix and Wes Montgomery;

    Too many bass heroes, but a few would be Jamerson and Osborn, of course;

    Al Caldwell--whose enthusiasm and personal encouragement helped me jump from guitar to bass--permanently--in the early 80s;

    Polar opposite R&B stylists Rocco Prestia and Verdine White;

    Pino-- who made me want to both play melodic fretless AND play palm mute style more often...

    And too many others to mention here....
