    ('90-'91) MIJ '51 RI Precision bass, 2013(?) AVRI '63 Fender Precision bass, Englehardt ES-9 Swingmaster upright, Fender Rumble V3 500 amp and Rumble 2x10 cabinet, Radial Pre Z pre amp.
    Favorite Genres:
    '50s R&R and R&B and Rockabilly and Blues, and Classic Country and Honky Tonk, all manner of '60s radio fare, a lot of '70s rock.
    Gigs and Ensembles:
    Coney Island Whitefish (@ CBGB late '70s), Good Rockin' Tonight (2008-2014 lots of gigs around N.J. playing the above genres), currently Johnny Powers 3 (featuring Sonny Kenn “One of the legends of Asbury Park” -Bruce Springsteen, playing the above genres around N.J.), Johnny Kinnaird (of Broadway's Million Dollar Quartet) and The Holler Cricks (Johnny Cash tribute band and outlaw country playing around the NYC area with return engagements at B.B. King's in NYC ), and some one-offs with Eddie Clendening (also of Broadway's Million Dollar Quartet) playing '50s Rockabilly and Country around NYC. Weekly rehearsals of Bossa Nova tunes with a violinist and acoustic guitarist and me on upright.
    Previously Owned Gear:
    90's active Music Man Sting Ray (w/ maple fingerboard), '60s Guild JS 1, early 2000's Fender active Jazz bass, ''84 Fender AVRI '64 Precision bass, GK MB 212. Still own (but don't really use) Avatar 4 ohm 2x10 speaker cab, Hartke 2115 combo, Behringer BX3000T head, Ashbory bass, Danelectro RI Longhorn, late '60's modified Gibson EB-0 (in need of repair), '64 black face Fender Bassman head (in need of repair).
