    Influences and Teachers:
    I've studied with all the bass teachers at McNally Smith college...terry burns, Gary raynor, Charles Fletcher, jay young, Anthony cox(though he wasn't a instructor, he played with scofield!!), a few others who's names escape me. I had a few teachers before... My father, a few guitar players and a guy named Dallas(guess where he was from!!!), mostly self taught though!! Influenced by bands more than players, first a few non bassist's: Charlie Parker and Eddie VanHalen, my 2 all time favorite musicians, they will both be remembered in 200 years!! Ok ,Stanley Clark is the man, Jaco of course, Billy sheehan(big influence), Dave ellefson, alex Webster, frank bello, d.d. Verni, Steve Harris, Steve digorgio, les Claypool, Timmy c. ,lots of hardcore punk bassists Klaus fluoride, derf scratch(fear), dee dee ramone, etc.....really, more songs/bands than solo bassist(sorry victor Wooten!)
