    Tom Clement Fretted and Fretless 6's - in Fifths
    Conklin GT-7 - refinished at JC Luthiers - (Fifths) .222 low F - in order to get a great low B
    EMBB Stingray Fretless - also in Fifths
    Plywood acoustic upright with a mix of Dominants and Spirocore's - again in Fifths
    Fender Urge II - still in Fourths tuning (I didn't have the heart to file the nut...)
    Bass Terror 1000 - with 12AU7s instead of 12AX7s - bought a bunch of tubes and rolled my own

    Influences and Teachers:
    On upright Paul Chambers, Charlie Haden, Edgar Meyer and the Bill Evans bassists - Scott LaFaro, Eddie Gomez, Gary Peacock, Chuck Israels and Marc Johnson.

    Upright teacher was primarily Richard Niezen, music director at the Aurora Symphony.

    Electric bass influences include Jamerson, Alain Caron, John Paul Jones, John Patitucci, Graham Maby and Bruce Thomas.
    Hobbies and Interests:
    Living the good life - skateboarding, good tequila, fun with the family, food (plenty of smoked meats!), friends and music -all that and making a bit of cash too...
