Seasoned professional. Been playing professionally since age 15.
Love straight ahead Jazz but enjoy performing original music of all types.
I play Upright Bass must of the time and i enjoy the fullness of expression that can be achieved with the Upright bass. Electric bass has a key position in the music I like to perform, but I tend to play electric mostly in my gospel music circles.
I find music to be both extremely comforting and at times the "business" of music woeful. Unless my fingers fall off I doubt I'll ever stop performing.
