I've been playing bass since 1969. Started on guitar earlier & hacking on keys. Bands needed bassists. Once I discovered it, no turning back. Always had a yearning for creating music with an extended-range bass. Discovered it in the early 90's. Worked it into contemporary ensemble work at 7-strings (3+1 groups) and expanded into solo work shortly after that when exposed to some incredible artists who had begun to forge the way for extended-range bass music. Produced and recorded my first solo extended-range bass CD in the early-mid 2000s. A multi-track layered effort. Shortly after that, I focused entirely on solo extended-range bass...purely live, or when recorded, a live take. Great discipline. Still working on it, always will be.
