    My Manne Malibu V bass.

    Ampeg PF-800 and 4ohms 1x15 600W Cab. Any risks?!

    You gotta be careful. I used to run an 800w head into a 600w 4ohm cab, and I spent all my playing time worrying about it.

    I think any 2x10 or 1x12 cab will do the trick. Stick to 8 ohms and you'll have a nice micro rig. In my decades of gigging I've never had use for...

    String taper question.

    Quite right, my mistake, it's 34" scale. Dyslexic in the fingers. My ideal would be 35.5" ball to taper. GHS do them , but not a B string.
