    Birthday:

    Location:
    Indianapolis
    Occupation:
    Attorney
    Current Setup:
'71 P Bass, '93-94 Fender "squire series" MIK P Bass
    Favorite Genres:
Country to play, just about everything to listen to.
    Gigs and Ensembles:
Nothing currently. Used to be in classic country band "Tip Top Daddies" and lots of things on 'cello, which is my first instrument.
    Previously Owned Gear:
Nothing bass-related. I get stuff and tend to keep it!
    G.A.S. List:
I've already got a nicer bass than I ever thought I would have. Need a better amp if I'm going to gig at some point, though. Don't even know what's good, because I just started playing.
    Influences and Teachers:
Lots for different instruments, but bass-related, Bob Moore, James Jamerson, Carol Kaye. You know, all the ones that everybody lists! Generally, I like "tasteful" players more than flashy. No lessons, at least not yet.
    Hobbies and Interests:
Lots of other instruments-banjo, guitar, cello, etc. Record collector.
Hello, I'm from Indianapolis and just picked up bass about three months ago, after having played guitar for about 25 years, off and on. I guess it was meant to be because about a month after I bought my first bass (a Squier P/J for $50), I lucked into a dead stock 1971 P Bass for a price so good I probably got someone at the pawn shop fired. I don't want to divulge it because you all might kill me! Anyway, I'm going through a bass method book little-by-little and getting a bit better each day. Hope to play in a group sometime soon. Great to be here, and I hope I can contribute at some point.
