Guitar player for years, with occasional songs on bass live. Realized I was never going to be a great guitar player. Switched to percussion and bass. Now mainly bass. After 2-3 years, I'm already better on bass than I ever was on guitar. I'm down with that.
Day gig is a geek thing. I write a lot, especially fiction.
Married 40 years to an amazing woman. Two bio-kids, and too many to count who call us mom & dad. A few grands. No great grands.
I miss motorcycling, but want to get everything (including the house) paid off before getting another.
I plan to live to at least 120.
I love Texas (we live central; I miss the desert), but I could live on a nice beach.
