Started out as a bass player with a Marlin Slammer, straight out of the Gratton catalogue, through a Peavey TNT 115 amp. Played in various bands from the late '80s to the mid '90s before becoming lead vocalist in the Torquay based band, The Gypsy Dogs. Bass playing has pretty much taken a back seat since then, as I've never been brilliant at singing and playing simultaneously.

I'm currently the lead singer for the classic rock/blues band, Borrowed Time, based in Crawley and lead singer/rhythm guitarist for the new wave/mod band, Mister Park, also based in Crawley.

Bass playing has remained a part of my musical life with various bouts with different bands (including the well known goth rock band, All Living Fear) over the years. Since the singing has been my main focus for many years now, my bass technique has suffered, so I'm not as technically good as I should be for the amount of years I've been playing; nor am I as "au fait" with equipment, set up and many other aspects of bass as I should be.

With that in mind, I'm intending to get more serious with my new rig, hence signing up here to learn as much as I can.
