Played bass on and off for 25 years. Not extremely skilled or disciplined, low dexterity and speed, technique is so-so. But apparently, I have enough of a bassist ear and I do something right enough with the instrument that much better musicians want to play with me. (Just maybe not Rush cover types of musicians.)

    Signature

"Nobody pays attention to bass players... until they make mistakes"
(Kid reflecting on the ungrateful role of bassists.)

"I play bass with 2 fingers: 1 on each hand"
    (Me reflecting on my technique.)
