This is going to be my first attempt to a whole waterborne paint job.
Createx colors green and white, followed by E.S.C. gloss clear.
It all really depends on the brand used... the rustoleum found al wallmart, home depot etc. is good but very thin.
Despite what someone said it...
Hi I'm sorry for the delay in my answer.
The odor is just like any other waterborne clear, nothing strong and it does not infest the room where it...
You can use vinyl sealer or even the clear itself as a sealer.
A lot of the "big guys" use polyester as a sealer.
The yellow is gold pearl mixed in the clear and the red is also the clear with transtint dye.
The brown is from Createx Autoair colors.
I did thin...
Sorry for the guitar content
A little update on my experiment with E.S.C. waterbourn "Brush Master" clear.
I use water colors on a lot of my guitar and bass refinishing but...
They are not really pricey, I just went back and purchased a quart of their "Brush-Master" gloss clear for $20.00
I will experiment a little more...
I used a small detail gun with a .8 tip mostly because I was given a 2 ounce sample to try.
For a bigger piece I plan on using a normal size gun.
That is more like 1 mist coat and 2 full coats.
This is what I used:
I think I have found a water bourne clear coat that stays clear over black AND is shinny straight out of the gun, no need to cut and buff!!
I havo not used floetrol, maybe its time to experiment with it.
Thank's fot the tips @Bruce Johnson
