- Previously Owned Gear:
- Lowest priced piece of crap bass my local music store had for sale in 1967 - which my older brother stole two months later and sold for meth. On the bright side, remorseful of his sin, he eventually replaced it with a beautiful Gibson EB-model - how and from where, I didn't ask. I was in Heaven and ready to be the next Jack Bruce... for about a month, then one day - like Keyser Soze - "Poof" the Gibson was gone.
- G.A.S. List:
- No GAS these days, but I'd love to add a Detective Comics #27 to my comic collection.
- Influences and Teachers:
- Mr. James Jamerson and Bob Babbitt, John Paul Jones, Sir Paul McCartney, Jack Bruce, Peter Cetera, Verdine White and The Geezer - to name a few.
- Hobbies and Interests:
- Script Writing - All Aspects of Film (History, Production, Theory) - Woodworking - Rare Comic Book Collecting - Classic Cars
I'm rekindling a passion to learn and play bass guitar that originated in my early teens during the late 1960's that was halted by the death of my father, which forced me to quit school and work multiple jobs. I tried to learn bass again in the mid-90's, but the growth of my company consumed me for the next 20-odd years. By 2015, I was able to lessen my workload to an advisory capacity, which finally provided me the time to learn and play with a clear, focused head. The long wait was well worth it and I'm now jamming regularly with a few different groups of people. I'm a little late to the party, but I'm dancing and absolutely loving every minute of it.Interact
