hey saw your post about the tone pot you replaced on your bbp34, I have the same issue with mine and would love to replace it, you would happen to have a link to the one you bought so I could get the exact one? thanks in advance for any help. Chad

Hello. I was also having a tone issue with my TT4 passive Sandberg. I definitely feel that my Sando lacks low-end compared to my Fender JMJ Mustang, P-Bass and my Rickenbacker 4003. Those other basses just have such a great low fundamental that the Sandberg doesn't have. Could this be a potentiometer issue? Stock strings? Any help from your end would be appreciated.

I must have missed this message, sorry! If you're still looking for an answer: Sandberg use 500k pots which is part of the reason they are so much brighter than a Fender. I changed volume and tone to 250k in my passive Sandberg. This will give it a more Fender-style tone. Stock Sandberg pickup are also quite bright. Replacing the pots may only be part of the solution. Sorry I missed this message back in 2020! :)
