      SJan, I think you've figured out that the strings are TI Jazz Rounds. Their smaller gauge )43-89) is a pretty good indicator since they have the green silks. Bass Strings Online will save you a few bucks if you want to stay with them. I've used them for years and aside from TI Flats, nothing else. Give them a chance and they'll last.... Leroy
