BM in Music Education from Radford University. I have two M.ed degrees from James Madison University. Played trombone as a major in undergraduate school. I graduated undergraduate school in 1995, sold my trombones and haven't touched any since. I played bass in rock bands since 1990. Began playing upright soon after college and of course every jazz band within 50 miles needed a bass player so I did that 4 nights a week and taught music for 12 years in the public school system. I quit teaching, got a regular job but kept playing. Currently bouncing between 4/5 bands playing a variety of styles from jam bands to blues and R&B. I'm currently out of my relationship with jazz music at the moment.
