yeah, be careful with those casters. they're pretty fragile at the plastic hub. had one break on me after 2 months, without ever dropping the cab.
weight on mine is 57 lbs, so the older ones were heavier

While I love my Shuttle 6.0 to death (and covet the 9.0) as someone who also has strong SWR roots, i would think that looking into the G-K MB500...
