    Software Developer/Musician/Gourmet
    Current Setup:
Sandberg California TT Active 4 (*Masterpiece) - my current goto
EBMM Stingray Classic 4 (2011, rare '56 blue) - my other current goto
Lakland 55-01 (sunburst) - when I need a 5 string (amazing for the price!)
Rickenbacker 4003 (mid-90s, Jetglow) - has been my goto in many bands
'62 Fender Precision Reissue (2002) - I goto as much as possible (big JJ fan!)
'62 Hofner (bought used mid-90s) - gigged with it quite a bit (huge pm fan!)
Upton Acoustic Upright (2009) - I love playing this thing!

Fender Stratocaster (needs work... and 6 string bores me)
    Martin Acoustic

    Misc. Stringed instruments
I also have two banjos (yes, I play banjo) :)

    Dunlop Super Bright Nickels
    DR Sunbeams
(These are the only rounds I use)

TI Jazz Flats (musically unique - love them on my '62 P)
Pyramid Gold (warmest flats they make with a unique G string)

I don't really play live that much anymore. I mostly do session work for music production. I have an old Fender Bassman kicking around in case something comes up. As for recording, I typically go through a Universal Audio LA-610 Mk II and then direct to an audio interface.

Empress Compressor (some song styles I use just a light touch. Mostly for ballads)
Xotic XBlender (this is great for blending your clean sound with your effects chain, i.e. parallel processing)
Way Huge Swollen Pickle (one of the best sounding fuzz pedals!)
Barker ASSMASTER (another great fuzz. Much different from the Pickle)
Melekko EKKO 616 (cool echo effect)
Iron Ether Nimbus (amazing reverb pedal!)

I rarely use effects in general, but if a song calls for one, I'll use it.

My primary Digital Audio Workstation is Studio One 4. For me, this is the best DAW out there. I also use Ableton Live 10 for mostly electronic sounding stuff. This one is really fun to use but they don't update it very often.
M-Audio Profire 610. I love M-Audio interfaces! This thing has lasted years and still works very well! Even with the latest operating system (I use Windows 10).
Avid Eleven Rack Guitar Amp Sim/Modeler (I can get any guitar sound I want. It even has great bass rigs!)
    Various VST plugins

Headstock vibration-based tuners (I love these things! My favorite is Intellitouch PT10 mini. I've tried them all and this one works out the best for me)
Basic Leather Strap (I need nothing more. I don't like strap locks and don't like big and bulky straps. I use a $16 strap)
String Dampener (great for slapping and tapping)
    Favorite Genres:
Pop, R&B, Indie Rock, Modern Rock, Funk, and many more...
