    Ampeg 215e

    5/5,
"The 215 in the 810 box"
An immense 2x15. The same size as the Ampeg 810e. Just as heavy too. It sounds great with just about any head. The sound is not as tight as the 810e but, a lot more mid growl and slightly larger bottom end. The 215e uses 2 cast frame 15's that have a wide range flat response up into the low tweeter range and is quite efficient.

    Ampeg SVT 5 PRO

    5/5,
    "Room shaker"
Everytime I use the 5 pro, it impresses me with how good it sounds and how powerful it is. The room vibrates. Maybe it's the octaver, one of the many features on the 5pro. It has a clean channel and an overdrive channel which can be combined if you like. 2 power amps that can be used separately or combined. I run mine mono-bridged which combines both power amps into one powerful package. It can be bi-amped. One power amp handles the lows. One power amp handles the highs. When bi-amped the...

    Orange Ad200b

    5/5,
    "Love the Orange"
Tom Bowlus does one of his excellent in depth reviews of this head. Mine is more of an impression. At 50-55lbs., present day me had to work to set in on the OBC810 cab. I love the oversized volume and gain knobs. Though not numbered, the dial adjustments are 1 to 11. My amp goes past 10 to 11. The power and standby toggles, not being marked on/off , took some internet investigating to determine which way was on/off. Up is power off. Up is standby on. I like that the amp is quiet. No buzzing...

    Basson 410b

    5/5,
    "Thick as a brick"
Sounds as big as an 810. Weighs as much as an 810. This was the first Basson cab I bought. Got it home, played through it and thought " this sounds as big as an 810". It does. It should. At 29 inches wide, it was the first 4x10 that I couldn't lift by myself. I couldn't get my arms around it to reach both handles. It makes a great stay at home cab.

    Orange Obc810

    5/5,
    "Big Orange Bass Cab"
A sealed 810 cab with Eminence Legend speakers. Close your eyes and it sounds like a sealed 810 cab with Eminence Legend speakers. The sound is big, deep and solid. Open your eyes and there is this beautiful orange 810 cab. It colors your impressions. I love the looks as much as the sound. I love big cabs and this is a beauty. " Take eight, ten inch speakers, slam them into a cab and magic happens." Cover that magic in orange and there is the OBC810. I have only played the Orange AD200 MK3...

    Basson 810b

    5/5,
    "Big, heavy, sounds great."
I love this monster. It sounds great. The now defunct Basson Sound company did itself no favors by saying it needed a tremendous amount of power to run it. It powers up the same as my other 810's. The comments about how inefficient and power hungry it is are untrue. It will handle a lot of power, but it is not a requirement. Don't believe the people that are echoing what they have been told. Read reviews from people that actually own one. As a training aid it is unmatched. An Ampeg fridge...
