I have a pedal of the first generation OC-2 OCTAVER. Besides octaver, you get a synth tone suppressing the direct level.

Pros- + Classic sounds
Cons- - Poor tracking and distortion with hot pick-ups.
This pedal did not work for me. My pick-ups are hot Dimarzio Pbass pick-ups that made the pedal distort and track poorly. I will stick with my DOD Octoplus that sounds and tracks much better with my bass.

Pros- + warm
This is a really good octave pedal. I have had it for a few months and it sounds really good. I prefer it over the oc3 because it sounds a lot warmer and more natural
