    • + sweet bart tone, fast neck, light and comfortable, lots of bass for the $$
    Cons
    • - neck needed to be fixed , but the company did it quickly and well
    Dean is making some very good basses for the $$. The neck is smooth, smallish, with a very flat heel. It can also be gotten with EMG pups--nice having this option. The quilt maple is really pretty and the black hardware keeps it from getting gaudy.
