I would definitely buy another one given the chance. Ive had both EB-O and EB-3 and have little to complain about. When I received it a friend had given it to Me because it needed some work...the bridge posts were coming out, so I glued them back in, and I put on some shiner screws because the ones it had oxidized. Thats it.

    • + Can take a beating

    Cons
    • - 3 point bridge
    • - Neck dive
The tone you can get out of this bass is pretty good. The Neck pickup (mudbucker/motherbucker) is really powerfull, hollow excellent for harder genres of music, synergy with fuzz effect is superb. The bridge pickup however, is really soft. I get the best tone out of the bass when i use both of them, the mini humbucker equalizes the mudbucker - excellent lows and highs aswell. The instrument is beautiful, but the build quality could be better. The first one i got from the store had huge paint slips, and a buzzing fretboard, returned and got a pretty solid one, but this has some minor paint glitches too. Unfortunatelly the chineese building is inconsistent. The 3 point bridge is horrible. The one and most important step to set up the bridge, so it wont get out of the bass ,is that the first screw should be a bit higher than the other two. When you are restringing the bass change string 1 by 1 so, the bridge wont fall out. The bass is light, the hardware is ok, the gloss paint is just gorgeous, if its done well:D. All in all with its flaws it is a good bass for the money, it is the most beautiful SG bass out there with a bargin price, but tonal options are limited
