I've been playing and collecting the American fender Precision Bass for well over 30 years, and I've had them all. While I do love their sound, over the last decade, I've become upset with their lack of finish options, neck specifications, and pricing.
I swear the more basic that they get, the more expensive that they get too... Makes no sense.
When I discovered G&L, I was relieved that I could get my beloved Precision, in ANY color that I wanted, including heavy flake, burst, metallics, and transparents.
I then discovered that G&L offered my beloved 1950's Precision neck profile, which Fender had long since done away with, and that I could get stainless frets to prevent wear from my stainless strings...
And all on a Leo fender Bass, made in America, for less than the price of an off the shelf Precision bass.
If you're looking for a precision bass, but you want it the way that you want it, then look no further. The G&L LB100 is it!
Pick your own body wood, color, fret board material, frets, neck finish, headstock finish, binding, fret markers, and pick guard!
And take pride in continuing the legacy of Leo Fender!
