Gecko Leather Works Guitar Strap

John’s a bass player who started making straps at home, years ago. His quality work with quality materials has allowed him to grow his business, and he now has a brick and mortar shop in South Milwaukee. I’m proud to say I have some of his straps from the early days all the way to my most recent one, the red bison Classic that I’m reviewing now.

This red bison strap needed to be simple in its styling. The candy apple red Lākland, it was made for, is very heavy and very busy visually. So, John made me a wide strap to disperse the weight, the length I need for my particular needs, perfect shade of red, and simple styling that compliments and doesn’t detract from the Lākland’s craziness.
