Pros - Cheap, match OEM specs
Cons - Unproven longevity, Unknown tone comparison
I bought these as cheaper replacements for two of the 10" speakers in my Ampeg SVT-410HLF bass guitar cabinet which had blown from the previous owner. I was a bit skeptical considering the price of an OEM replacement is around $70, comparable to an Eminence LEGEND BP102-4. I installed these along with the existing OEM pair of Eminence speakers.

Upon opening the box, the speaker magnets are much lighter than an Eminence (I cannot say if they are ferrite vs Alnico vs the newer neodymium) and there are only 2 (+ and -) connectors rather than the OEM's 4 each. The connector mount feels flimsy and is pop riveted on. The cones are a laminated synthetic material rather than plain black paper. Also these speakers only have 4 fastening points apposed to the 8 on the OEM but they lined up correctly and I did not need to drill new holes. By splitting the wiring after connecting to the speakers I was able to achieve my desired connections and they wired up fine along with the existing 2 Eminence speakers.

This was right before a bar gig that night so I was worried they wouldn't hold up as I could not truly test them in my apartment where I made the repair. They sounded great however upon turning them up during a quick test. The gig went great and they sounded clear. I cannot comment on the longevity or compare them side by side with the Eminence, though I may do so before purchasing more. For a cheap bass speaker replacement I would recommend these to anyone on a tight budget and am happy with them. Thank you.
