Pros - Well made and does sound good and great size...easy to use and the Phat knob isreally good.
Cons - Claims to put out 300W but its more like 80W/100W at full volume. No good for band practice....good practice amp.
I felt a little ripped off to be honest, although the sound quality is very good, in a real live situation I gave up on it and went back to my valve 300W there was just no competition, this thing only puts out 80W/100W MAX in a live volume situation. I suppose you could mic it but hey It 'claims' to be 300W which is a big horse really.

i have this same amp head in my 3110 combo ... if you'd dig into the specs , the amp is rated at 150 watts at 8 ohms , 300 watts at 4 ohms ... therefore , my 3110 combo, , with it's internal 8 ohm speaker, by itself IS only 150 watts ... it would definitely need another 8 ohm cab to play out with , to get it's full 300 watts . !

Hey DavC, Yep I hear you, I tried all this, compared to my old 200W amp this thing is nowhere near as loud in both set ups both 150w single channel or 300W twin cab, so just not that powerful.
