Bought this bass because I liked the way it looked, plus always liked the P/MM pickup configuration, which is tough to find. Caught it while on sale, and got an added 15% off with a coupon at Musiciansfriend. I was completely blown away.

The bass has super low buzz free action, and sounds awesome. It can get really deep thumpy and dark, gnarly and Jaco like, and with the humbucker kicked in gets a real sweet Warwick like growl happening. Bass can do a great P or J imitation, and is capable of much, much more. I love this thing. And I own lots of high end basses :). Sits really well in a band mix too, and can be EQed to cut like a razor, without losing it's low end.
