    Hello fellow bassplayers and bassplayerettes,

after I did a cover song with the brand new Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas JJ V bass a few days ago, today I will give you a review of this most anticipated bass.

I will go through all EQ Setting with different styles and show you, why you should be really excited for this bass...
...and why some might be disappointed...

    I hope you like it!

    Stay well and creative!

The passive tone control is a super easy mod and not really a big deal at all. Personally I would never use it. The real fatal flaw is 20 frets on a 35” scale 5 string.

A Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass JJ V CM in Lambo Green Metallic.

I am super excited about the Charvels since they were announced, because they are like Fenders on steroids. (Yes...of course I ordered the Neon Lime Green PJ from Charvel also, but it will take a few weeks to arrive ;) )
The 5 String JJ sports a 35" slim C 12" - 16" graphite reinforced roasted maple neck and fretboard with Satin finish on an alder body. 3 band EQ and also an 9V active mode or an completely bypassing passive mode for the DiMarzio Area DP550/DP551 J pickups. It also features a Charvel HiMass Bridge and a Tusq saddle. Clocking in at 4,1kg.
