    • + The best tracking, very accurate, easy to read, rugged & durable, true bypass, low battery drain, exotic tuning modes if you want them.
    Cons
    • - Don't lose the manual if you want to use the more advanced features!
My ST-200 has been bouncing around my gig bag for 8 years now and it still looks and functions like new.
Tracking, accuracy, readability are all tops and the battery drain is minimal.
I also have a Korg Pitchblack tuner pedal and I like this unit much better in pretty much every way. (The Korg is more intuitive to calibrate but I never use that function.)

    • + Rock solid stable tuning absolutely Impressive
    Cons
    • - You are going to have to convince all the rest of you the people in your band to get one :)
I have been playing bass and guitar for 20 years and been setting up my own instruments for about 15 years. I have used and or owned just about every tuner available. More recently I started playing five string bass and could not get any of my tuners to quit bouncing all over the place. So I ordered the turbotuner ST300 on Thursday and it showed up on Monday (California to Missouri.)
Straight out of the box I plugged in a Ibanez SR bass (active) and it is so stable I mean absolutely perfect.
Next up was a jazz bass with passive pickups no surprise same results. Intonation is stupid easy with this pedal
Neither of these bass guitars have ever sounded so good.

    • + Accurate, fast, and then some.
    Cons
    • - A bit "this one goes to eleven". Power jack placed at the side, below, the input jack, which limits teleplug choice.
Sorry, but those three reviews are a little too late in the game. This one is out of print, and is now replaced by the smaller footprint ST-300.

I agree though, with former reviews. Accurate, highly visible, and fast. One thing that is missing in the reviews is that this can run on battery without having anything plugged in. Which means that it drains battery JUST when it's on. A first if you ask me. When stepped on, THEN the battery kicks in too, and when switched off, the battery is switched off too. Which means that you can leave it on your board without any power adapter cable and make that room for another pedal. No need to take that up. However, a slight pop can be heard when clicking it on and off, which means the power is on just when stepping on it. If the battery is active when anything is in the input jack, there's no pop when turning any pedal on or off. But if a power adapter is used, there's no pop.

However, it's a tad too picky, i e it wavers and are very hard to get to stand completely still. It is perfect for tuning drums with a quick decay, but for guitar and bass it's too perfect. Intonation maybe, but regular tuning it's too picky, it's..well...0.02 cent. Bet anyone can hear that. It ruins you judgement and turns you into getting anal retentive about tuning a guitar or bass. I do like it for more scientific purposes at the repair bench at home. Intonation details, and setting offsets for special tunings. On stage it will take ages to tune up if you rely on its immaculate perfection. It starts to drift off only by looking sharply at any string ;) makes you think it's gone out of tune.

I would love to have the power input jack at the front though (Luckily they've changed to this on the new ST-300 one). Not at the side. I've never encountered any pedal on that that jack is always getting in the way, like on this one. Luckily one can resort to battery use.
