- + Strobe display makes it easy to tune accurately. Comes in two versions: big enough to run on a battery, or tiny to save pedal board space. Custom presets allow for whatever sweetened or non-standard tunings you might want. Tuning down a semi tone or two is just a couple button pushes, and can be stored as a preset separate from the standard chromatic mode.

Wow, this tuner is da bomb. I've been using one since they first were available, and just can't think of anything to be picky about. Definitely worth the price.
Ran out of room listing _pros_, above. Here's what wouldn't fit:
A great choice for an amp without a dedicated tuner output. You can choose (with an internal switch) whether turning the tuner on mutes the output, or the signal always passes through. Set it up so it mutes on tuning, and put it in front of the amp's input.
Excellent battery life, as long as you remember to unplug the guitar cord when you're done playing.
Strobe display is large, and easy to read. It's bright enough to use outdoors on a sunny day.
No trouble at all, reading the B string.SamuelSandoval likes this.

The ST-300 has a USB port. This can be used to set up custom tunings and other tuner parameters, and to upgrade the firmware should there be any future enhancements to the product.
