I bought this bass in 2019 for the purposes of having an inexpensive bass to hang on my wall for easy reach to grab whenever inspiration hits. Out of the box, it had some issues with action and intonation. I had to make some truss rod adjustments, bridge height adjustments and intonation adjustments. I was never able to get things perfect, but I would say that I got the action reasonably well, but slightly high for my taste. The tuners were good, holding the tuning in place well. The sound from the P and J pickups was not that good, but good enough for in home play. I would not use it for gigs or even band practice, but for home practice it served its purpose. I sold it in 2022 so I could get something a little better quality for home use, that would also work for gigs.
