Deduct a star for noise, deduct a star for size.
Add back a star for use/sound.
It really does sound good as a OD/comp on bass, and I have it on a board where it sounds great, but is bulky and heavy and a bit noisy, so it's mostly used for recording rock.
I use the comp-only version (Comp 66) on a board in front of my 4 Source Audio pedals - puts them over the top. I should note that the comp version has tone and gain controls, and acts like a "clean" boost!
