I try many different strings, but usually come back to these. You can find them anywhere if you're touring - I've seen them at Target and Best Buy. That's a plus, because you know you'll be able to find them if you're on the road, but it comes down to tone. I love the tone and feel of these strings. Balanced tone across the strings, enough zing without being overly shrill and a G string that doesn't sound ganky. It's hard to beat Slinkys.

Best strings I've ever used and will most likely never change. The new Cobalt power slinkys are the best.

After trying many strings, I rotate through 3 few brands of strings and these are my go-to strings. I generally pick up a pack or two of regular slinky strings for my 4 and 5 string basses and keep them in my gig bag as needed. My sweat is like battery acid on strings so I change them frequently, but there is nothing like the sound of a fresh set of EB Slinkys on a bass....

i like this string so much, I thought I would take time to write a review. I put these on my EBMM Sterling 5H and yes! Welcome to complete satisfaction. I like nickel strings and these work perfectly. Not too rough or bright. Great, punchy tone and rich fullness. Highly recommended.
