I was looking for a wider strap to go easier on my shoulder and this strap delivers!

The thoughtfulness and care that went into this strap is evident the moment you hold it. The strap is stiff, due to the padding, but the leather is smooth to the touch. The strap is two pieces, the main piece that goes over your shoulder and connects to the upper horn and the second, adjustable piece that connects to the bass' body. As a bonus, two pick holders have been sewn into the strap so if you play with a pick, you have someplace convenient to store them!

This second piece is held in place by two screws. When you shorten the adjustment piece, the extra slides into the middle of the main strap (like your tongue sliding back into your mouth) so it isn't flopping around and the strap looks like it was made to the exact length require. There are 23 sets of adjustment holes spaced slightly more than an inch apart so finding your perfect length should be easy. Aligning the hole pairs to tighten the screws is pain free as well. I was worried it would be difficult to line the holes up, but the strap somehow "locks" into place when the holes are in the right spot.

I gave this strap 5 of 5 stars due to the craftsmanship, quality of materials, and ingenuity of adjustable strap design and sewn in pick holders.

The only possible drawback I can find is the fact you need a screwdriver to adjust the length. But I do bring a screwdriver with me on gigs, just in case. By gig time, it'll be the proper length anyway.
